Artist statement

I studied fine arts at the St. Martins School of Art in London. I make functional stoneware, and one of a kind pieces. My work is wheel-thrown and slab-built, altered, constructed and deconstructed. I like to work with soft clay, allowing it to participate and perhaps collapse a little if it so chooses. The knowledge of an unknown element in the final result is what delights me and keeps me continually excited
