Artist statement

Ceramic Carving” is the name I gave to the technique that I developed while working with clay. This is an intuitive adventure – no preplan. At the same time flow with the form and control it. While carving away the leather hard clay, I force myself into a strict “carving constraint” – to take away, but never add any clay, (treating it as carving wood or stone).
