Artist statement

My work is inspired by my surroundings. Local landscape and rugged rock formations, marked by rain, sun and wind become images and designs for forms and surfaces. Archeological influences combined with traditional shapes and forms are incorporated in my ceramic work, which is mainly wheel thrown.
