Artist statement

My work is a result of the interaction between clay and color, the never-ending search for a connection with the Earth... One of my main goals is for the colors to be growing out of the clay. I reach that with the use of organic materials ( seeds, fruit peels, sea weed, egg and sea shells, etc. ) and relay upon the spontaneous result that are the effect of this unique firing method: saggar firing.
