Artist statement
Inspired by living in the lowest place on earth (-400 meters) south of the dead sea, surrounded by unique desert view, salty soil and salty water in a never ending summer heat - I make my own statement thrugh clay. My works, both sculpturistic and functional, are hand built and wheel thrown. Using local materials and gas firing to cone 6, achieving rare results - I make a new creation which speaks for me and my local surroundings. My studio is open for other artists to come, work and enjoy an exceptional atmosphere.
